Erectile Dysfunction
The most common question asked by patients is: “Can you treat erectile dysfunction?” The simple answer is yes. The vast majority of erectile dysfunction cases are treatable through Focused Shockwave Therapy. Successful treatment means a boost to sex drive and intimacy levels and in many cases, improvements to your overall physical and emotional health.
At the Central Shockwave Therapy Clinic, we have the latest Shockwave technology which sends targeted soundwaves to increase blood flow and accelerate the healing process by promoting tissue repair and cell growth.
We treat men of all ages and from across the UK for erectile dysfunction, impotence or ED as it is also known. We are always happy to start with a gentle chat to assess your circumstances and have both male and female clinicians who know how to make patients feel comfortable and reassured. Patient care is central to everything we do and our costs remain among the lowest in the UK. We firmly believe treatment for erectile dysfunction should be accessible to all who require it.
It is worth remembering that erectile dysfunction is a widespread condition affecting more men than ever. Currently, one in five men in the UK aged between 40-70 have erectile dysfunction, while more than half will have experienced the condition at some stage. Perhaps more surprising is the sharp rise in men in their 30s reporting issues with maintaining an erection.
Should you experience erectile dysfunction, there could be any number of underlying causes. Speaking with an appropriate healthcare professional to discuss your lifestyle and symptoms is a good idea.
What is the difference between Focused and Radial Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave Therapy ED Clinic
There are two types of Shockwave Therapy: Radial and Focused, by comparing the two, the main considerations are penetration depth and area to be treated.
Providing greater penetration by the shockwaves the easier it becomes to treat deep-lying issues for the tendons, muscles or bones, this depends on the problem area, the type of therapy needed will typically change.
Focused Shockwave Therapy treats chronic tendon conditions, calcific tendonitis and heel spurs. Radial Shockwave Therapy is better at treating muscle and joint problems including chronic pain, plantar fasciitis, and tennis elbow.
What is Focused Shockwave Therapy?
